Nepalis -- Unshakable Strength of Heart and Spirit

I'm not in Nepal right now but weeping for the people there--a 7.8 earthquake struck north-central Nepal on 25th April 2015 and tragically affected Kathmandu and beyond with widespread destruction and fearful aftershocks. Another quake measured at 6.7 hit on 26th April 2015.
I am now numb with shocked disbelief that the inevitable actually happened--many buildings and structures of Kathmandu were leveled to ruins.
However, if any people can overcome adversity, count on Nepalis--unshakable strength of heart and spirit.

Potholes that are Big Enough to Land a 747

Highways and byways of India have potholes big enough to land a jumbo jet in--treacherous navigating them while riding atop two speeding wheels of my motorbike, especially with ubiquitous other obstacles, speeding and stationary. Hari Om (Hurry Home)!

Rugby Match in My Belly - Incredible India

Dysentery strikes again in !ndredibly (Unclean) !ndia. Too !ncredible! Unfortunately, not much concept of enviromental degradation by the vast majority of a vast number of people :(

My "traveler's tummy" is bad enough that it feels like a rugby match along the length of my enteric system.

If gets worse, then might have to douse system with allopathy.

And then, if survive, I will be overly committed to protecting the 'god-hole'...no more rouge, culinary adventuring  no matter how deliciously tempting the street food and drink (espcially freshly pressed sugarcane juice with fresh-pressed lime, ginger and mint).

Update: Now taking the Mercedes-Benz of antibiotics, azithromcin...

I miss home...Jupiter

Instant Karma fearlessly charging and trampling

Nothing is more treacherous than the karma we create for ourselves--especially when it lives in the jungle and weighs a few tons. Find here the story of a rifle-wielding hunter ironically sent to the afterlife by his prey--a wild elephant.

Sometimes Instant Karma is not afraid to charge fearlessly and trample...

Songs can change the mindset in an instant--this wonderful tune is performed by the aptly named Plastic Ono Elephants Memory Band
"You better get yourself together...what in the world are you thinking of, laughing in the face of love?"

The Arrest of a Teen-Aged Youtube Star---Viva la Singaporean Revolution

Seventeen year old Amos, "The most winsome political dissident you've never heard of", deserves a Nobel (verbal-)War Prize in my humbled opinion.
Watch his Youtube channel for dazzling sparks of irreverent mind-power--not the usual groveling from the 'oppressed' mass of human beasts.
Viva la Singaporean Revolution with Amos throwing raw, verbal haymakers at the smarmy, small--minded ruling class who have pressed petty criminal charges against him.

Neo-Colonialism through International Aid and Ignorance

Join USAID (DFID, GIZ, JAICA, SNV et cetera) and oppress the world with the best of intentions...and the worst of ignorance.

Without transparency and good governance, aid can be futile if not harmful and debilitating.

Surya Namaskaar

Surya Namaskaar from Rishikesh--where the spiritually plagued congregate and where peace abides in their absence.
